Throughout the years, UW-Superior has seen different iterations of a literary journal. There was the Crosscut journal from 1963-1973, the stand-alone issue of Wisteria from the 1993-1994 school year, and a student-funded issue of The Night Watchman in 2008. The Nemadji Review is the current and longest standing one to date. It started in 2011 as a conversation between students and faculty with a shared passion for literature. Since then, it has evolved from the humble, staple-stitched first edition to the polished, professional journal it is today.
