Submissions

The Nemadji Review accepts all genres for consideration, including academic papers, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and visual art from students, faculty, community members, and alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The goal of our yearly print publication, and regular website features, is to enrich and engage our literary community. All submissions are subject to review by our student organization to reflect that goal. Our editors appreciate the opportunity to experience the written and visual work of authors and artists of all backgrounds and expressions.

The Nemadji Review submissions window is open!

Submissions for the 16th Volume of The Nemadji Review will be open May 15th-June 30th, 2026 and September 1st-October 20th, 2026.

Our theme for the 16th Volume is “Attic of the Mind.”

Blow off the dust gathering in the hidden nooks and crannies of your mind. Uncover that wistful yearning for time gone by. This year, our theme asks you to look back on memories, dreams, or ideas that have been seemingly discarded in the attic of your mind. What creative ideas lie forgotten in the attic, beneath the cobwebs of everyday life? What treasures are waiting to be unearthed?
